Annual Krit Classic 5K To Be Held On June 5

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and will be held rain or shine.

The 8th annual Krit Classic 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run will be held at Andover High School at 80 Shawsheen Rd. on Sunday, June 5. The Kids Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. The event will be held either rain or shine.

The event is held in memory of Kristen Lee “Krit” Kearns, a 2000 graduate of Andover High School, who died tragically in a bike riding accident in 2008 while she was riding home to her apartment in Boston. The event is held during the weekend of her birthday each year.

During her time at Andover High, Krit was captain of both the Swimming & Diving teams and the Gymnastics team, helping both towards state championships.
