ClownTown Begins Tonight with Games, Rides and Crafts

The annual Andona Society ClownTown is finally here and will be starting tonight at 6 p.m. in the Park.

At well over 50 years old, ClownTown was a favorite for Andover parents when they were kids and it continues to be a sought after event for children now.

With the same line-up of games, rides, crafts, prizes and more, ClownTown will be featuring two days of Clown-related fun, starting this Friday, May 17, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

And kids always love the chance to send their principal, teacher or public administrator into the water in the dunk tank that appears at the festival each year.

ClownTown is run by the Andona Society, a group that helps benefit Andover youth in a variety of ways, and this event is the group's largest fundraiser each year.

Last year, the Andona society raised over $30,000 for the youth of Andover.
