GLCAC Now Enrolling Students for Head Start

Head Start centers are open for in-person and virtual classes for children from Lawrence, Methuen, Andover and North Andover

The Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, Inc. is now accepting students for enrollment in its Head Start programs.

All of GLCAC’s centers in Lawrence and Methuen are open for in-person and virtual education. The centers serve families in Lawrence, Methuen, Andover and North Andover.

“Research shows children who receive early learning do better in school,’’ said Evelyn Friedman, GLCAC’s executive director. “We encourage families of all income ranges to consider our programs and get a head start on their children’s education.’’

GLCAC’s Head Start centers service children 15 months to 5 years old and offer a variety of educational activities, qualified and nurturing teachers, nutritious meals and snacks, heath check-up, creative arts, family services and transportation options.
