Teen Killed In I-495 Crash In Andover
Massachusetts State Police said a 19-year-old from Lowell drove off the highway and crashed through a guardrail.

ANDOVER, MA — A 19-year-old was killed Tuesday morning after he crashed through a guardrail on Interstate 495. Massachusetts State Police said the driver, from Lowell, was traveling in his Acura TSX sedan northbound near Exit 41 at about 4:40 a.m. when he suddenly veered off the right side of the highway and crashed. He was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
The teen's name was withheld pending notification of family, police said.
"The cause of this crash remains under investigation," State Police said in a statement.

The teen’s vehicle spun around and settled by the woods along the highway.
Two lanes of the highway were closed for more than two hours. Those lanes were reopened at about 8 a.m.
