Marathon Results: How Andover Runners Fared

BOSTON, MA -- Andover's Rachel Hyland finished the Boston Marathon in 2:44:29. That was good enough for fourth place in the women's division and just nine seconds behind the third place finisher. Hyland, 32, teaches Spanish and coaches cross country and track at Phillips Academy in Andover. She competed in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials according to her alma mater, Williams College.

Meanwhile, it may have been cold, windy and rainy, but that didn't stop local runners from taking to the start line for the 122nd running of the Boston Marathon. Official times for each of the runners from Andover that finished the marathon are posted below:
