North Andover Police Search For Convenience Store Robber

Police search for suspects who broke into the Richdale convenience store on Chickering Road early Monday morning.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Police are searching for at least one person after a robbery at the Richdale convenience store on Chickering Road early Monday morning, according to the Eagle-Tribune.

The break-in occurred around 1 a.m. Monday, when the store was closed.

Police say that at least one person entered the store, tried to destroy the store's surveillance equipment and stole cash from the register drawers and from a safe.

The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, half-face mask and gloves at the time of the incident.

The person fled with an unknown amount of cash and cigarettes, police said.

Richdale convenience store was also the site of a robbery in March where the store clerk was also sexually assaulted.
