Obituary: Jean (Lough) McCarthy, Cost Accountant

Jean (Lough) McCarthy, 79, of Andover, beloved wife of the late Henry McCarthy, died Monday, March 16th, at Blueberry Hill Healthcare, in Beverly. Born in Montgomery, AL, she was the daughter of the late Judd and Gladys (Johnson). She was raised and educated in Atlanta, GA.

Jean was employed for many years as a cost accountant for various firms, including Alpha Industries and Boston Acoustics, until her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed a quiet retirement and loved to spend her time reading and gardening.

Jean is survived by her two sons Douglas McClellan and his wife Gloria of Windham, NH; Gregory McClellan and his wife Joan of Beverly; and also was the mother of the late Gary McClellan. Jean also had four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
