Obituary: Patrick Shawn Carney, 56; Nicknamed 'Tiny,' Lifelong Resident of Andover

He loved his New England sports teams, and was a die-hard Patriots fan and avid Bruins fan.

Patrick Shawn Carney, nicknamed ‘Tiny,’ a lifelong resident of Andover and beloved son of Jeremiah A. and Carolyn V. (Volk) Carney, passed away suddenly at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. He was 56 years old.

He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on January 22, 1959. Mr. Carney worked as a Maintenance person for Disney and other companies for many years. He loved his New England sports teams, and was a die-hard Patriots fan and avid Bruins fan. His hobby was managing his aquariums and collecting different fish. He will be dearly missed.

Besides his loving parents, Jeremiah and Carolyn, he is survived by his dear brothers and sisters-in law; Robert W. and Ruth Carney of Stratham, New Hampshire and Kevin E. and his wife Karen L. Carney of Andover, nieces and nephews; Robert and his wife Bea Carney of Washington, DC, Monica Carney of Haverhill, Kaitlin Carney of Andover and Bronko and his wife Molly Carney of Methuen, great-nieces and great-nephews; Cierra, Kaley, Freddie, Thomas, and Declan, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
