Over 60% Of Andover Residents At Least Partially Vaccinated
Over half of the town's adult population is fully vaccinated, according to the latest state data.

ANDOVER, MA — Over 60 percent of Andover residents are at least partially vaccinated, the state reported Thursday.
Forty-three percent are fully vaccinated, including over half of residents over 19.
The vaccination drive is matched by falling coronavirus case numbers. There are just 22 active cases as of Thursday, the town reported. Per state data, there were 73 cases over the last two weeks.

The positive test rate over that time was 2.4 percent, down from 3.2 percent in last week's report.
The town has reported 2,765 cases and 125 deaths.

Massachusetts reported declines across all coronavirus metrics again Thursday, with the positive test rate falling to 1.37 percent from 1.67 percent last week.
The weekly average death rate fell to 7.6 deaths per day, the lowest level on record.
The average case rate and hospitalization rate also fell.
