Overnight Work Will Closes Lanes On I-495 In Andover
All lanes of travel on I-495 north and southbound will be open each day between the hours of 7 a.m., and 7 p.m.

From MassDOT: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that there will be various overnight lane and ramp closures on I-495 north and southbound in Andover beginning on the evening of Friday, October 26, and ending the morning of Sunday, October 28.
These temporary off-peak traffic impacts are necessary to allow crews and contractors to safely and effectively conduct deck repairs on the bridge carries I-495 over the MBTA tracks in Andover.

· All lanes of travel on I-495 north and southbound will be open each day between the hours of 7 a.m., and 7 p.m.
· Two lanes will be open for travel on I-495 north and southbound each evening from 7 p.m., through 10 p.m., as well as each morning from 7 a.m., until 9 a.m.

· One lane will be open for travel on I-495 north and southbound each evening from 10 p.m., until 7 a.m.
· The I-495 on-ramp from Route 28 northbound (Exit 41) will be closed as needed from 10 p.m., through 7 a.m.
Signs, traffic control devices, and law enforcement details will be used to guide drivers through the work zone. MassDOT encourages drivers to reduce speed and allow for extra time through this area. All work is weather dependent and is subject to change without notice.
This work is being conducted as part of a $21 million pavement upgrade project on I-495 in Andover/North Andover and Lawrence and is expected to be completed in October 2019.
