GET ON THE LIST: Patch's is a friendly list. We LOVE reader submissions, so we'll be updating the list until New Year's Eve. And we're not picky about where you live — just because your town isn't on the list yet doesn't mean we don't want to see your display. So tell us why your light display is special and send your pictures to chris.huffaker@patch.com. (Read more about getting on the list.)

BE RESPECTFUL: Don't honk your horn or litter. Please be respectful of people's neighbors. We think 10 p.m. is a reasonable time to stop looking at houses on weeknights, and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

COVID-19 RULES: Remember, there is still a pandemic out there. Some of our contributors have instilled COVID-19 rules. Check out the houses from your car.
