Pedestrian Struck by Motor Vehicle on Elm Street

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, April 1

At 1:32 p.m. a caller from Wingate Andover reported jewelery stolen on Andover Street.

At 1:34 p.m. a caller reported that her cell phone was stolen at the library.

At 6:22 p.m. a caller reported a two-car crash in a parking lot with no injuries on Haverhill Street.

At 7:11 p.m. a caller reported a car that hit a pedestrian on Elm Street. The pedestrian suffered back pain, scrapes and bruises from the incident. The pedestrian was transported to Lawrence General Hospital.

At 8:27 p.m. a caller reported that someone tried to break into her home on Dove Lane through a slider door.

At 9:38 p.m. the fire department responded to a fire under a porch on North Main Street. The fire ended up being a small brush fire and firefighters had the blaze under control in minutes.

Tuesday, April 2

At 11:53 a.m. Andover Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a female that fell and cut her face on the sidewalk at Elm Square.

At 2:57 p.m. a caller reported a brush fire on Bailey Road. Firefighters had the fire under control in a short period of time.

At 5:28 p.m. a caller reported that he was just involved in a minor motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
