Two Phillips Academy students ran a 26-mile relay race from Boston to Andover on Sunday and, in the process, raised a significant chunk of change for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Â
Starting at the Boston Marathon finish line at Copely Square, the girls, Phillips Academy students Peyton McGovern and Olivia LaMarche, ran a relay race all the way to Phillips Academy.
When all was said and done, the girls raised over $3,000 for the One Fund Boston.

Amy LaMarche, mother of Olivia, said the girls' main priority is to direct those interested in donating to the One Fund website. Â
"The important part of the story is that they were making this effort to motivate people to donate to the One Fund Boston," said LaMarche. "They have been collecting donations at the school but they would encourage people to go to OneFundBoston.org to make a donation online."
