Power Outages At Water Treatment Plant Could Cause Discoloration
Power has been fully restored, the town said, but discolored water may need to be flushed.
ANDOVER, MA — Residents may encounter discolored water due to overnight power outages at the Andover Water Treatment Plant, the town said.
Power was interrupted due to Tropical Storm Isaias, which knocked out power for over 200,000 electricity customers across the state. Power has been fully restored to the plant, the town said.
In case of discolored water, residents are encouraged to run cold water to flush the system.
