Registration Open for Run For the Troops
The race helps build homes for injured soldiers.

As we look toward spring this year, there are a bunch of races and walks, and one of them right here in Andover will benefit troops in need.
The Run for the Troops 5K will be Sunday, April 6. The race is to raise money to help build homes designed for soldiers with specific injuries.
This year's race will help build a home for Army Sgt. Matt Dewitt of Concord, N.H. Dewitt, father of two, was deployed in Afghanistan in 2003 with the 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, when he was struck by a rocket-propelled grenade. Both his arms were then amputated below the elbows.
Registration has begun. For more information or to register, visit the race's website.
