Selectmen To Discuss Outdoor Dining Regulations For Reopening

Outdoor dining at restaurants will be allowed as part of the state's second phase of reopening, beginning Monday.

ANDOVER, MA — The Andover Select Board will discuss and potentially vote on regulations for outdoor dining on private property, Monday evening.

Under the second phase of the state's reopening, outdoor dining at restaurants will be permitted across the state beginning Monday.

Town officials are also working on a plan to temporarily turn over town land to restaurants for outdoor dining.

A variety of other businesses are allowed to reopen beginning Monday, including retailers, certain childcare facilities and day camps, libraries and malls. All are under strict regulations to limit the spread of the virus.
