Tewksbury Street Bridge Will Be Closed This Week
The daytime closures will impact traffic between Tewksbury and Andover.

From MassDOT: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that the Tewksbury Street Bridge over the Pan Am Railroad in Andover will be closed to all vehicular traffic during daytime hours from Wednesday, January 30, through Friday, February 1. The sidewalk across the bridge will remain open for pedestrians and bicyclists.
These closures will be implemented each day between 9 a.m., and 2 p.m., and are necessary to allow contractors to safely and effectively conduct construction operations.
MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of potential traffic impacts. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution. Electronic message boards will be in place to notify drivers of the closures and the need to seek alternate routes.
