Tractor Trailer Rollover Closes I-495 In Andover
All lanes on the southbound side of the highway were closed Thursday afternoon.
ANDOVER, MA — A tractor trailer rolled over and blocked all lanes on Interstate 495 in Andover around 5:10 pm Thursday. The driver was taken to Lawrence General Hospital with what officials described as non-life threatening injuries. In a statement, Andover Police and Fire officials said drivers can expect long delays throughout the evening rush hour.
The truck rolled over as it entered the highway from Interstate 93. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which remains under investigation.
