Traffic Alert Issued for Andover Railroad Crossing This Weekend

ANDOVER – A street closure will shutdown traffic at the railroad crossing at Essex and Pearson Streets between June 25 through June 27. The crossing will close at 6am Saturday morning and reopen Monday at noon, police tweeted.

According to Andover police, MBTA commuter rail operator Keolis will be working to add a second track to the crossing during the closure. A second closure will likely take place in July, police said.
