Wilmington Election- Loud, McCoy Elected Selectmen; Bryson, Bjork Win School Committee Seats
Preliminary results show Loud and Bryson - the two newcomers - topped the ticket in their races.

WILMINGTON, MA — A rainy, raw Saturday didn't keep Wilmington voters away from the poles as they cast their ballots to re-elect some familiar faces and elect some new faces. Mike McCoy retained his seat on the Board of Selectmen to be joined by newcomer Ed Loud, while Stephen Bjork was re-elected and joined by Jennifer Bryson on the Wilmington School Committee. Both newcomers topped the ticket in their races.
Preliminary results show Bryson topped the ticket for one of two seats on the Wilmington Schools Committee with 1,644 votes, while incumbent Bjork received 1,507 votes.
The following are the voting results for the other school committee candidates: Sabrina A. Hewitt: 349; Amy B. Largenton: 178; Rhonda I Musikar-Rosner: 880; Kathleen O'Donoghue: 10.

Of the four candidates, including a write-in candidate, who were vying for two seats on the Wilmington Board of Selectmen, Ed Loud topped the ticket with 1,849 votes and incumbent Mike McCoy earned 1,481 votes.
Challenger Kevin F. MacDonald received 577 votes. Write-in candidate Kenneth A. Dorothy received 425 votes after launching his campaign 24 hours before the election.

Housing Authority member Stacie Murphy ran for re-election with no challenger. She received 2,086 votes.
