2 Pedestrians Hit In Separate Incidents: Beverly Police
Two pedestrians were struck by cars in separate incidents this week.

BEVERLY, MA – Two people were hit by cars this week in separate incidents, according to Beverly Police.
A 9 year old was hit by a car in the area of Cabot and Bennett streets on Tuesday around 6 p.m. According to Department Spokesperson Officer Mike Boccuzzi, the child was transported to Beverly Hospital with a leg injury, and the driver wasn't cited because witnesses said the child ran into the street.
Around 9:45 p.m., a 68 year old was hit by a car on River Street, and taken to Beverly Hospital with non life threatening injuries, according to Boccuzzi. The driver was cited for failure to use care.
