2021 Memorial Day Program In Beverly
Beverly will hold a Memorial Day ceremony at Lynch Park on Monday.
BEVERLY, MA — A year after most public Memorial Day ceremonies were canceled because of the coronavirus crisis, Beverly will hold an event at Lynch Park on Monday honoring the city's fallen veterans.
The event will begin at 2 p.m. with the national anthem and a prayer from chaplain Bob Laws.
State Sen. Joan Lovely, State Rep. Jerry Parisella and Mayor Mike Cahill will make opening remarks and there will be presentations including the Restoration of the Hall Whitaker Plaque, one from Kowalski Dental and Senior Veterans Replica Plaques.

Chaplin Laws will deliver a "Reading of the Names from the past year" and there will be a moment of silence for the fallen.
"Taps" will then be played ahead of a closing prayer from Chaplin Laws.
