5 Spots to Try a Christmas Cocktail

Looking for a Christmas-y spirit? 

Here's a look at five local establishments offering holiday cocktails. Try one of these at your holiday party, or hit these spots and test them out (not in the same night, preferably!)

1. Marino's Cafe

• Candy Cane Cocktail: peppermint liqueur and cranberry juice
• Frostbite: blue curacao and pineapple coconut rum
• Godiva Peppermint Cream: Godiva chocolate liqueur, peppermint flavor and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and crushed candycanes
• Bailey's Hot Chocolate: Bailey's and hot cocoa, topped w/ whipped cream
• Frozen Gingerbread Man: Dekuyper buttershots, hot damn, bailey's irish cream and espresso, served frozen!

2. EJ Cabots

• Christmas Sugar-Cookie-Tini: Egg nog, butterscotch liqueur, vanilla vodka with a red and green butterscotch rim.
• The Candy-Cane-Tini: Vanilla vodka, milk and peppermint liqueur w a red vanilla rim and grenadine. 

3. Not Your Average Joe's

• Tis the Season Sangria: nantucket’s triple eight cranberry vodka, house-made cranberry puree, pinot grigio and cranberry juice
• Gingerbread Martini: tito’s handmade vodka, baileys and monin gingerbread with a gingerbread cookie rim

4. Bertucci's

• Tiramisu Martini: Absolut Vodka, Kahlúa, Frangelico, butterscotch schnapps, espresso and cream. 

5. Finz (Salem)

• Spiced Fig Old Fashion: Rye whiskey with muddled figs, a house made spiced simple syrup and fig bitters  
• Pumpkin Cider: Locally distilled Turkey Shore Tavern Style rum, pumpkin liquor, and pumpkin apple cider
