1. Don't forget: Today is the last day to drop off your Toys for Tots. Check out the participating locations in Beverly, here.
2. Teddy Bears for Newtown: Depot Liquors will be collecting new and gently used teddy bears to help support Teddy Bears for Newtown. Bring in a bear this week, and the store will be sending them down to Newtown on Friday evening.

3. Did you know, Beverly Public Library is hosting a special exhibit of quilts by the Garden City Quilters during the month of December? The exhibit features a variety of quilt types, including wall hangings representing members’ favorite children’s books, a charity quilt, a baby quilt representative of those made for the new mothers program at Beverly Hospital, and other quilted items that members have made for family or as gifts. Check it out in the Sohier Room through December 30, 2012.
4. Christmas Shopping: Now through Christmas Eve, everything at Sugar & Spice Gift Boutique on Cabot Street is 20 percent off.
