5 Things (Free Coffee) to Start the Day: Sept. 28

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Free Coffee: Today from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., 7-Eleven stores across the U.S. will give away a free 20 oz Cup of Joe to each customer. Be sure to take advantage of the offer! 

2. If you've been on Rantoul Street, you may have noticed that Organic Rainbow is getting a makeover. The business was selected as one of this year's Beverly Main Streets Facade and Sign Improvement Program recipients. Today's 5 Things pic is from the construction.

3. Montserrat’s Bear Gallery Opening Reception is being held tonight at 5 p.m. The student run gallery will host a juried show “Everything Red: Mixed Media Show”. The artists explore many different combined mediums, with a topic of their choice, but every medium used within the exhibit is related to the color Red. The public is encouraged to check it out, on exhibit through Oct. 15.

5. This year's MomBall Softball Tournament kicks off tonight at 5 p.m. Moms from Beverly Public Schools, St Mary's, St John's as well as a team made up of teachers from the Beverly Public Schools will play against each other to raise money for Beverly Education Foundation, Peter Frates Fund, Bootstraps and The Beverly Domestic Violence Unit. Check out the details in today's 'What's Up This Weekend?' column.
