5 Things (Giving Tuesday) To Start the Day, Nov. 27

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Giving Tuesday is today. Learn more about the local nonprofit organizations participating here. 

2. Clif Stoltze, founder and creative director of Stoltze Design, will be speaking to the public today as part of Montserrat College of Art's Public Artist Talk. The free lecture starts at 11:30 a.m.

3. Merry Main Streets Free Raffle: More than 40 businesses have donated items for two gift baskets, each worth over $500 for Beverly Main Streets' Merry Main Streets raffle. Look for the Merry Main Streets candy cane flyer in the window of participating downtown businesses and enter the raffle by filling out one free ticket per person per visit. Learn more here. 

4. Deck the House: Did you know Beverly has a chance to win $100,000 for our public schools--all by decorating your house for the holidays? Learn more about Patch's nationwide Deck the House contest here. 

5. Snow: A chance of snow is forecasted today, mainly between 1-2 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 37 degrees, with light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent, with little or no snow accumulation expected.
