5 Things (Leaf Pickup) to Start the Day: Oct. 15

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Leaf Pickup: Yard waste is collected during your recycling week for several weeks starting today. Must be placed in paper bags or open trash barrels. Check out the city's recycling calendar for full details here. 

2. There's only two more chances to enjoy the Beverly Farmers' Market this year. Be sure to head over to Odell Park from 3-7 p.m. today to get your fruits and veggies. 

3. Beginning tonight, Earth will pass through a stream of debris from Halley's Comet which will give us the benefit of the annual Orionids meteor shower. Where are the best spots to watch from Beverly? Let us know here.
