5 Things: Organic Rainbow Gets A Makeover

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

2. Need something to do with the kids? Babies and Books is a literacy based class at Glen Urquhart, which introduces quality children's literature, traditional rhymes, songs, dance and ring games, interactive play, lullabies and story telling. Check it out today at 10:15 a.m.

3. Save the date: On Friday Jan. 18, Beverly Public Schools will be closed to students for a staff development day. 

4. Tonight the Beverly Police Community Advisory Council Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Sohier Room at Beverly Public Library.  The CAC is intended to foster and facilitate communication and understanding between the Beverly Police Department and the community. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the city's neighborhoods.

5. Weather: Sunny, with a high near 44. Lows tonight will dip to 29 degrees.
