5 Things (Santa Parade) To Start the Day, Nov. 19

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Book Sale: The Friends of the Beverly Public Library will hold their annual Fall Book Sale now through Sunday, Nov. 25. Paperbacks and all children's books will be $1.00, and hardcovers $2.00. All sale proceeds benefit the library.

2. Tonight City Council meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The agenda includes a public hearing on the city's Watershed Protection Overlay District proposed by the Safe Drinking Water Alliance, a presentation on K-9 dogs by Police Chief Mark Ray, and more. Check out the full agenda here.

3. We were excited to see Beverly High School's marching band in Haverhill's Santa Parade yesterday. Don't forget, Beverly's Santa Parade will be held Sunday, Nov. 25 at 1:30 p.m.
