5 Things To Know Today, Jan. 16: Get Your Handbags Ready

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. We know summer seems far away, but camp signups are already here! Beverly Recreation has five different camps for children this summer. Check them out here.

2. Plum Consignment is hosting a handbag swap this Thursday, Jan. 17. Those who want to participate must drop off handbags, wallets, clutches, etc. prior to the event. There will be no drop off's allowed after noon on January 17. You can drop off your items anytime during Plum's normal business hours. Check out their Facebook for more information.

5. Snow or rain? Both, it seems. National Weather Service says rain and snow, becoming all rain after 3 p.m. High near 37. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
