5 Things (Broadway, Books, and FroYo) To Start the Day, Nov. 16

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Love showtunes? Tonight the North of Boston Arts Center is presenting a free Broadway Showcase, performed by adults and children, at the Beverly Memorial Building on Cabot Street. Check out more about the event here. 

2. Members of the Friends of the Beverly Public Library are invited to a preview of the annual Friends’ Fall Book Sale tonight from 5-8 p.m. Friends memberships start at $15—new memberships will be welcomed at the door, as will membership renewals.

3. Beverly-based author James Phoenix will read from his book Frame Up, the first book in the Fenway Burke Mystery Series, at a signing tonight at 7 p.m. at Jabberwocky Bookshop at the Tannery Marketplace in Newburyport. Learn more about the event here. 

4. Did you know Pinkberry offers a family game night from 6-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights? Bring in your own boardgames, or choose one from their collection.
