Here are our picks for the ten most bizarre police log entries since Beverly Patch launched in August, in no particular order:
- In November, police were made aware of a smiley face drawn on a man's car window while the vehicle was parked in his driveway on Dartmouth Street. The man told police he reported it because his family had been victim to the area's peeping tom and neighbors said they believed this was his way of 'leaving his mark.' Police said the smiley face looked like 'Stewy' from Family Guy.Â

Police said a public sidewalk, as well as two handicapped spaces had been cluttered and obstructed with a makeshift storefront created by two homeless people. The set-up included TVs, electronics, buttons, records, and other items on two large tables, taking up about 30 feet. Police said there was no permit for the "yard sale" and the two were advised to remove all items from the sidewalk.Â
- In September, police were called to Broadway Street where a woman stated another woman had kicked down a political sign on her lawn. When police found the woman running down Broadway, she told police she did it because 'the sign made her mad.'Â

The individual told police he was playing online four days ago when he got into a fight with another gamer from Missouri. Words and threats were reportedly exchanged. The individual was advised to contact Microsoft and Facebook to stop the exchanges.Â
- In September, a break-in was reported on Nursery Street. According to police reports, the resident reported a cookie had been stolen from the kitchen counter, and candy was also missing from a bag that was in the living room.
