Bacteria, Mold, and Rollar Coaster Physics Win Big at Ayers Ryal Side Elementary Science Fair

A look at the winners of Ayers Ryal Side's annual science fair.

More than sixty elementary students submitted fifty science projects for competitive judging at the Fifth Annual Ayers Ryal Side Elementary School Science Fair.  The following winners were selected in the third, fourth, and fifth grades:

Third Grade
First Place: Cael Dineen & Alexander Knight, Which Foods Grow Mold
Second Place: Juliet Ekborg, Wind Power
Third Place: Ethan Dang, Different Vegetables Powering a Light Source

Fourth Grade
First Place: Michel Pietrini, Roller Coaster Physics
Second Place, Quinn Cunningham, Crystal
Third Place, Julia Block, Which Method Could You Use to Cool Down your Drink the Fastest?

Fifth Grade
First Place: Hannah Kumar, Where does Bacteria Live at Ayers?
Second Place: Regan Ekborg, Can the Color of your Roof Reduce your Energy Bill?
Third Place: Christian Pulido, Will it Stay Cold?

The Science Fair projects were judged by thirteen scientists from the greater Beverly community.  The Science Fair is generously sponsored by Cell Signaling Technology and Harborlight Family Medicine.
