BEVERLY, MA — Not even pumpkin patches are escaping the coronavirus in 2020. The ongoing pandemic means many of the region’s pumpkin patches have had to adjust hours, regulations and activities as they head into fall.

Fortunately, the coronavirus has only changed — not completely closed — your favorite pumpkin patch and its offerings this fall. Below is a list of some of our favorite pumpkin patches near Beverly.

Name: Brooksby Farms

Season opening/closing dates: Farm store opened Sept. 8 with apple picking starting Sept. 12.

Attractions: Full farm store with a pick-your-own fruit option. Picking time this year is limited to 20 to 30 minutes with capacity restrictions. Cider donuts are available at the new Donut Hut outside opening Sept. 12.

Hours: Apple picking 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sundays. Farm store open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Name: Connors Farm

Address: 30 Valley Road, Danvers, MA, 01923

Season opening/closing dates: Apple picking opened on Sept. 1 with corn maze now open as well.

Attractions: Connors offers "pick your own" apples and pumpkins. Try the challenge of the corn maze and afterwards, relax on a hayride around the farm. The bakery includes cider donuts and a selection of fresh pies, muffins, cookies and breads.

Season opening/closing dates: Summer through fall

Attractions: Clark Farm offers a selection of items paid through the "honor system" at the farm. More items can be found at farmer's markets in Salem, Marblehead and Swampscott.

Hours: Salem Farmers Market Thursdays 3 to 7 p.m.

Marblehead Farmers Market Saturdays 9 a.m. to noon

Swampscott Farmers Market Sundays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
