Beverly Boys' Lacrosse Advances in MIAA Tournament

Beverly High School's boys’ lacrosse team defeated Danvers 11-10 in the quarter-final round of the MIAA state tournament and will take on Wakefield on Tuesday.

The game is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Wakefield High School.

Beverly, ranked 3rd in the North Division 2 tournament, finished the regular season at 11-8. Wakefield, which is the two seed, went 14-4.

The winner will take on the winner of Marblehead/Melrose in the finals.
