Beverly Burger Joint's Boston Location Opens This Week

The restaurant got its start in Salem in 2013 before moving to Beverly in 2016.

BOSTON, MA -- Beverly's A&B Burgers will complete its expansion to Boston Thursday, more than a year after it was first announced. The restaurant, which opened in Salem in 2013 before moving to Beverly in 2016, is opening its second location near North Station. The 4,000-square-foot space has access to Causeway Street and will feature the garage door windows it has in the Beverly location.

According to Eater Boston, which first reported this story, A&B named former Russell House Tavern chef Amanda Howell executive chef of A&B Burgers in Boston. Jacob Carter, who has worked for Barcelona Restaurant and Wine Bar and Stephanie’s Restaurant Group, is general manager. Eric Buxton and Matt DiBiccari from the Beverly restaurant will serve as director of operations and culinary director, respectively.

Two years ago the company considered an expansion to Amesbury, but those plans fell through. The new restaurant will have seating for 100, plus 19 more at the bar, and have views of Charlestown and the Zakim Bridge
