Beverly Construction Update: Rantoul Street Sidewalks

Starting next week, we're looking at a lot of sidewalk work along Rantoul Street.

BEVERLY, MA – There's going to be a lot of work around the Waters and Brown parking lot starting on June 13. Plus side: The area will also get trees.

Week of June 12, to June 16:

  • Monday-Tuesday: Pour stamped section of sidewalks and base for cobblestones at 131 Rantoul St.
  • Tuesday-Wednesday: Pour remaining sidewalks at 131 Rantoul St.
  • Thursday-Friday: Install cobblestone strips at 131 Rantoul St.
  • Tuesday: Excavate and grade lot at Waters and Brown.
  • Wednesday: Pave top coarse on drives at Waters and Brown lot.
  • Monday-Thursday: Plant trees along Phases 1, 2 and 3 (the new Middle School on Cabot Street to Herrick Street; Cabot Street from Herrick Street to Gloucester Crossing; and Rantoul Street from the southernmost part to Pleasant Street, respectively).
  • Monday-Friday: Grade sidewalks and driveways in Phase 5 section.
  • Monday-Tuesday: Install curb on Rantoul St at Elliott St intersection.
  • Thursday-Friday: Install signal wire and set mast arms in Phase 5 area (Wallis Street to Federal Street).
  • Monday-Wednesday: Excavate sidewalks in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets).
  • Monday-Wednesday: Install light foundations and conduit in Phase 5 section.
  • Monday-Friday: Install light conduit in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets).
  • Monday-Friday: Excavate and pour mast arm foundations in Phase 6 section (Cabot Street from Lenox to Colon streets).
  • Monday-Friday: Roadway excavation and install gravel in Phase 7 section (Rantoul Street from Wallis to Pond streets).
