In the year of COVID, small businesses need your support more than ever. Here are a few perks for helping small shops in Beverly Saturday.

BEVERLY, MA — In the year of coronavirus, small businesses need your support more than ever.
Beverly Main Streets is helping some small businesses in the city give an added incentive to shoppers on Small Business Saturday — beyond the purchase of some cools stuff and the satisfaction of knowing you helped a local spot that might be having a tough year — with giveaways and coordinated discounts.
Those shopping at several Beverly spots can pick up a free "Shop Small" tote bag on Saturday with residents encouraged to give their business to small businesses either in person and on line throughout this holiday season.

"We encourage you to Shop Small every day and support our downtown businesses," Beverly Main Streets said. "Please wear a mask and shop safely."
Tote bags will be available while supplies last at these shops: A New Leaf, Art by Alyssa, ChrisPy's Liquors, Copper Dog Books, FRANK, Hammer and Stain North Shore, Paper Asylum, Studios at Porter Mill, The Golden Hanger and The Salty Cottage.

Beverly Bootstraps will have 50 percent off all clothing — including the Boutique at 198 — at the Beverly Bootstraps Thrift Shop on Rantoul Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Cheese, Please! Food Truck will be serving macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese, salads and more in the Bootstraps parking lot.
Memory Lamps of Beverly and Nanci's International Jewellry's storefront have some great online deals and curbside pickup of memory lamps.
The Cabot Lodge is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for hotel tours and gift cards. Gift card purchases of $100 or more receive an additional $25 card.
