Beverly Declares Snow Emergency Ahead Of Winter Storm

The snow emergency means there will be no on-street parking Wednesday night into Thursday in Beverly.

BEVERLY, MA -- City officials say they will implement a snow emergency in Beverly at 10 pm Wednesday night. Forecasters are calling for overnight snow and a messy morning commute on Thursday. The snow emergency will be in effect until further notice.

The quickest way to know when the city lifts the snow emergency is to sign up for Swift911, Beverly's reverse emergency notification system. During snow emergencies, all on-street parking is banned and violators are subject to ticket and towing.

The following municipal lots are available for parking during snow emergencies:

  • Franklin Place and Washington Street (between the two streets)
  • Pond Street (behind Casa Da Moda)
  • Pond Street (at American Legion/Spear Post)
  • Briscoe St/Hale St (across from Central Fire Station)
  • Congress Street and Summit Avenue (public lot)
  • Chapman Street and Federal Street (behind Family Dollar)
  • MBTA Parking Garage on Rantoul Street (reduced rate during parking ban)
