Beverly Declares Snow Emergency, List Of Cancellations Grows
Patch will be updating this story throughout the afternoon Wednesday as we learn of more local cancellations.

BEVERLY, MA -- The latest forecast is only calling for 6-8 inches of snow in Beverly, and much of that wet, sloppy, winter weather will come this afternoon and into the evening. With difficult driving expected, several events for Wednesday afternoon and evening have been canceled or postponed.
Meanwhile, the city will implement a snow emergency at 9 pm Wednesday night. During a parking ban, on-street parking is prohibited.

- The Sustainabiliy meeting scheduled for Wednesday night has been canceled.
- The Underwater in Salem Sound Lecture at the Abbot Public Library in Marblehead is canceled.
