Beverly Dog Licenses Available March 1

Mayor Scanlon said licensed dogs have increased due to city's dog park.

Now that city dogs must have a license to gain access to the Beverly Dog Park, Mayor Bill Scanlon said in his state of the city address that the number of licenses distributed has greatly increased. 

On Friday, March 1, the city will make licenses for the upcoming year available.

All dogs six months of age or older MUST be licensed by April 1 every year.

If you have a new dog or one that has never been licensed in Beverly, you can download the form on the City Clerk’s page and mail it with the fee of $20, payable to The City Of Beverly. Include a self-addressed envelope and we will mail it back to you, please be patient all tags will be issued by April 1, we have over 3500 dogs to be licensed in our City. 

*DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FORM IF YOUR DOG HAS BEEN LICENSED BEFORE, IN BEVERLY, YOU WILL GET A RENEWAL IN THE MAIL SHORTLY.

The city's website said,

If you mail your dog's renewal in, please make sure that the RABIES INFORMATION on the bill you received is correct, if not you MUST enclose a new copy of the updated rabies certificate with your payment and if you want it mailed back PLEASE include a SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE (SASE).  The bills will be going out on Wednesday. Thank you
