Beverly Man Charged With OUI After Truck Crashes Into House
The accident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday night when a truck crashed into a house near the Danvers and Beverly line.

Tuesday night's crash into the side of a home off Bridge Street in Danvers was due to drunken driving, according to police.
A Beverly man faces charges in connection to the crash, which happened just a few hundred yards over the town line from Beverly.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. when a truck crashed into a home at 7 Bridge St. in Danvers and struck a utility pole. Several electric meters connected to the house were also smashed.
A female passenger was taken to Beverly Hospital on Tuesday night and the driver was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Daniel S. Bodek, 48, of 27 Taft Ave., Beverly, was arrested on that charge, according to a police log entry.
Bodek's residence is less than a mile from the scene in the Ryal Side neighborhood of Beverly.
The power was turned off at one point to the home and both a building inspector and Danvers Electric were called to the scene.
Bridge Street was temporarily shut down at Bradstreet Avenue and traffic was diverted down the side street.
Utility crews were still at the scene early Wednesday afternoon.
