Beverly To Hold Summer Camp 'Lottery' For 2021
Those applying for a spot in the Beverly Recreation Summer Camp can register through Feb. 22.
BEVERLY, MA — With summer camp hopefully in store for Beverly children in 2021 the Recreation Department is accepting applications for spots in the camp through Feb. 22.
Unlike past years, when spots were awarded based on first-come, first-served registrations, this year's spots will be given out via a lottery system.
Those interested in a spot can submit applications here until 10 a.m. on Feb. 22. Families will be assigned a number and the staff will randomly select numbers on Feb. 24 for spots in the camps.

Those families not selected will be placed on a waitlist and families are reminded that submitting an application does not guarantee a spot in the camp.
Families chosen will be notified in early March and then have three days to pay a $100, per child, non-refundable deposit to secure a spot.

Registration will open for non-residents if any openings remain open in the spring.
One application should be submitted per child. Multiple responses will be discarded and will not increase the chances of receiving a spot.
