Beverly Hospital Named To 'Most Wired' List
Lahey Health and Beverly Hospital have been named to the American Hospital Association's "Most Wired" list.

BEVERLY, MA – Lahey Health and its affiliated hospitals, Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital, have been honored for their use of technology in healthcare.
Lahey was named to the 19th annual Health Care's Most Wire list in a survey released by the American Hospital Association. The survey uses 698 participants, representing 2,158 hospitals, to examine how the organizations are using IT to improve healthcare infrastructure, administrative management, quality and safety, and clinical integration.
"It is an honor to be recognized as an industry leader in health information technology," said David Reis, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Lahey Health in a statement. "Our leadership, clinicians, staff and information technology teams are all focused on efficiently leveraging innovative technologies to improve care delivery, outcomes and patient experience across Lahey Health."

"This Most Wired recognition is a reflection of the work we have done to use leading edge technology to improve coordination of care and enhance patient experience," said Howard Grant, JD, MD, Chief Executive Officer, Lahey Health in a statement. "Our electronic health record system and other tools allow our clinicians to practice more efficiently, improve patient safety and experience, lower costs, and ultimately deliver better care."
