Beverly Little League Falls to Peabody West Despite Late Game Push
Beverly little league lost to Peabody West in the sectional opening game on Wednesday.

The Beverly Little League team took on powerhouse Peabody West on Wednesday night and, despite putting up four home runs in the last inning, fell 7-5, according to an article in the Salem News.
Beverly hitters Matt Cross, catcher Joe Ward, Jon Gilbride and Ryan Barror all assisted in the four-run addition to the score board, with Cross, Ward and Gilbride all hitting homers.
“We showed a lot of fight,” Beverly manager Jim Cross said.
Beverly goes onto play North Andover East Thursday evening starting at 5:30 p.m.
