Beverly Block Party To Close Part Of Cabot Street

Kids get Arts Fest, adults get The Block.

BEVERLY, MA – Beverly Main Streets will host THE BLOCK, the fifth annual downtown street party that shuts down one block of Cabot Street on Saturday, July 29.

THE BLOCK will go from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. between Pond and Federal streets. The suggested donation is $5 per adult at the gate. Everyone is welcome, but the event is geared more toward adults. Bags may be inspected, and no pets, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, or hoverboards will be allowed.

The party features live music from local bands, and food, beer, and wine from nearby restaurants. Only cash is accepted, and Massachusetts IDs are required to purchase drinks.

Food choices include lobster rolls, pizza, sandwiches, burritos, hot dogs, dumplings, fresh salads, iced coffee, pastries and more. Salerno's Italian Eatery will be selling craft beer, sangria and wine. Downtown restaurants in the area will also be open so there will be plenty of choices for everyone.

Local bands will play music at the Pond Street stage and there will be a DJ at Ellis Square all night. 105.7 WROR will be there with a free prize wheel and more.

Part of Cabot Street will be closed to traffic during the parties, so guests can freely walk around and listen to live performances.
