Beverly Man Allegedly Solicited Sex From Undercover Cop at MBTA Station
Incident happened at the Chinatown MBTA station.

Transit police arrested a Beverly man Tuesday evening in Boston, after police said he offered an undercover officer to perform a sexual act on him for money.
Handell Liburd, 33, of Beverly, was arrested at 6 p.m. at the Chinatown MBTA station.Â
Transit Police officers from Area 1 said while patrolling on the northbound platform a female police officer working undercover was approached by a male, later identified as Liburd.

Liburd reportedly took a seat on the bench next to the undercover officer and initiated a conversation with her, eventually directing the conversation to the topic of making money. He allegedly asked if the undercover officer was interested in earning some money.
Reports said Liburd bluntly said he would give her $40 to perform a sexual act on him.Â

Officers approached Liburd, identified themselves as Transit Police officers and placed him into custody on a charge of solicitation of sexual conduct for a fee.
Liburd was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court sometime today.
