Police Called for 'Man With Rifle' on Elliott Street

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department:
Monday, Feb. 4
- Police were called to James Street at 12 p.m. on report of a dog tied to a tree.
- At 3:32 p.m. police were called to Juniper Street on report of a contractor making threats.
- A missing student was reported on Sohier Road at 5 p.m. When police had arrived, the father had found his son.
- At 5:04 p.m. police were called to Park Street on report of domestic abuse. Police arrested Paul Feddesen, 23, of 139 Park St., on assault charges.Â
- A bottle of liquor was reported at a Cabot Street business at 7:36 p.m.
- An apartment was reported vandalized on Blaine Avenue at 7:49 p.m.Â
- A robbery at knifepoint was reported at Rite Aid at 8:23 p.m.Â
- At 11:14 p.m. police were called to Agate Street at 11:14 p.m. on report of a domestic situation. Police arrested Marc Frazier, 33, of 16 Agate St., on charges of assault and battery.Â

- A pedestrian was struck by a car at 9:02 a.m. on Rantoul Street.Â
- At 5:22 p.m. police were called to an assault on Fairview Avenue.Â
- A drunken disturbance was reported on Cabot Street at 5:26 p.m. A man was reportedly banging on the walls of a building.
- A neighbor dispute was reported on Chestnut Street at 5:34 p.m.
- At 7:44 p.m. police were called back to Cabot Street on report of the same man as above causing a disturbance. Police arrested Edward Belanger, 47, on charges of disorderly conduct.Â
- At 9:05 p.m. police were called to Dartmouth Street on report of fresh snowprints on a back deck. Police searched around the house and surrounding streets, but did not locate anyone.Â
Wednesday, Feb. 6
- At 6:18 a.m. police were called to Dodge Street on report of construction workers making too much noise.Â
- Police were called to Elliott Street at 8:23 a.m. on report of a man possibly carrying a rifle. When police spoke to him, he told them he was a student at Beverly High School in the R.O.T.C program, so that was why he was dressed as a soldier. As for the 'rifle,' police said the boy was carrying an electric guitar in a case. Police gave the boy a ride to school.
- At 9:37 a.m. police went to a Dane Street residence with a search warrant. Police arrested Roland Masse Jr, 37, of 68 Dane St., on charges of trafficking cocaine, possession of a firearm without a license, firearm ammunition without a FID card, firearms security violations, a revoked license, and four warrant charges.
