Beverly Man Charged With Fifth Drunk Driving Offense

A Beverly man is facing a fifth drunk driving charge after being arrested following a traffic stop in Danvers Friday afternoon. 

At 3:33 p.m., police responding to a report of a suspicious white van with a flat tire at the intersection of Pine and Washington streets arrested  Paul Lohnes, 56, of 443 Cabot St., Beverly, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, fifth offense.
