Beverly Man Gets Two Years Prison for Forging Prescriptions

A Beverly couple tried forging prescriptions for OxyContin in 2011 and were caught red-handed.

In 2011, Staples employees in Beverly were suspicious of two people attempting to copy prescription pads when they were asking how to spell "OxyContin."

Luckily, a Beverly detective was also in the store running errands and nabbed the couple before a marked cruiser even arrived. 

Just recently a Salem District Court judge sentenced Beverly man Barry Noyes to two years in prison for forging the fake prescription.
